Kara's Woodworking is a small business dedicated to offering beautiful, handcrafted woodworking products. My passion is to create unique pieces that will bring joy to those who use them. I strive to create products that are of the highest quality and craftsmanship to fit your unique needs. I deliver within 30 miles of the Wausau area free of charge and will deliver within 150 miles for a fee.

Wooden Furniture

I have a passion for crafting beautiful wooden furniture that will last for years to come. All of my clients have had special requests and I created a custom piece to fit their needs.

If you're not sure which wood you would like to fit your project, I'll be happy to help based on the application of the piece.

Cabinet Doors

I specialize in crafting cabinet doors. Each door can be painted or stained to any color you choose. Simply send me the paint color or stain that you find in a local Ace, Home Depot, or Menards and I'll take care of the rest. I currently do raised panel and shaker style doors but can create other styles if requested.

Custom Orders

I offer custom orders for clients who would like something unique to fit their individual needs. I design the piece in a 3D program and share it with you before building.

What kind of materials do you use?

I use a variety of wood products to ensure the best quality product for my customers. If I can find the wood species you would like at a local lumber yard, I can build it for you. If price is a factor in the piece you're looking for, I can use plywood products as well.
